Abyss DJ And Disco Hire, Derbyshire and the surrounding area's premier disco service. At Abyss Entertainments we are committed to bringing you a professional DJ and disco hire service that offers the highest standards of entertainment and equipment. All of our events are taylored to suit your individual needs, and we believe that if you want a certain style of music played (or even not played), that your wishes should be met. Unlike a lot of other DJ's and disco services, we will not play a "cheesy hour" or "ones for the oldies" unless you ask us to, and we will also not flood your music and indeed your event with jokes over the microphone, irritating one liners, and so on. However, this is not to say that announcements are completely out of the question, as if something does need to be annouced it is not a problem, but we do recommend that somebody at the party does this, as a familiar face and voice always gets noticed much more. In addition to the above, we keep our music up to date as often as possible, but if you are unsure if we will have something you want before your event, please feel free to ask us. Still on the subject of music and the choice of music, it is entirely up to you how we work at your party. If you would like to give us a list as a guide, or indeed a strict playlist, that is perfectly fine.  The cost to have us DJ for your events disco can vary, depending greatly on the distance from us and also the total time that we will be needed. For example, many weddings often require that we set up much earlier in the day, which will be factored into the total cost. Bearing all of the above in mind, we never pretend nor go out of our way to be the cheapest service around, and what you are hiring is not the stereotypical example of a "disco". Simply put, we aren't a disco service.
